'Drumming Up An Appetite' - Has hit the shelves!

Let us preface by saying, we’re reading everywhere that this is a “long waited” cookbook. Not sure who exactly has been asking for it… but it is pretty bloody funny

Drumming Up An Appetite cookbook by the late Vinnie Paul—legendary drummer of Pantera, Damageplan, and Hellyeah has been released. Each chapter features a Pantera-inspired pun tied to a different part of the meal: main courses (Reinventing the Meal), side dishes (Far Beyond Kitchen), and desserts (A Vulgar Display of Flour).

This project, over a decade in the making, has been brought to life by publisher Z2.

In 2015, Vinnie expressed his excitement for the cookbook, saying, "My cookbook will be called Drumming Up an Appetite with Vinnie Paul. How clever is that? It’s got a picture of me sitting behind a drum set, holding two turkey legs, which are otherwise known as drumsticks!"

Vinnie also shared his passion for cooking: "It's all about cooking and having fun with it. A lot of people think cooking is just throwing something in the microwave, but it’s something you really have to be passionate about, just like playing an instrument. If you put your heart and soul into it, feed it to people, and see them enjoy it—it's the same feeling as playing music when people say, 'Goddamn, I love this!'"

Brian "Bridog" Jones, Vinnie’s best friend and personal assistant, adds, “Vinnie’s BBQ spreads were legendary—whether at his homes in Texas and Vegas, or on the road cooking for bands, crew, and even local venue staff. His meals were unforgettable! The hard work from myself and many others has made this cookbook possible. Vinnie’s recipes are now ready to be shared with the world!”
