The latest instalment in the Marvel franchise is out this weekend with Deadpool and Wolverine arriving in theatres across the globe and Canadian rock band Nickelback have stepped up to show their support for the film, before its release with a message for anyone who dares criticize the movie.

A few years ago a trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool went viral for a hilarious bit in which Ryan Reynolds character Deadpool stood in defence of the band and rattled of facts to prove how good the rockers were (we’ll attach the video below)

Nickelback have now returned the favour in a video shared to their twitter.

Singer Chad Kroeger proclaims, "We have an important pre-emptive message for anyone even thinking of criticizing the film Deadpool and Wolverine, or Ryan Reynolds,"

He and the rest of the band, including a marvellously costumed Daniel Adair sporting Wolverine's Adamantium claws, run down a list of impressive accolades the Deadpool franchise has achieved. As if that weren't enough, Kroeger closes his argument stating, "For Ryan Reynolds, well just look at this photograph - that is a beautiful Canadian man right there."

Re-masking themselves, the four band members then rise, look at the screen and proclaim, "So yeah, let's fucking go."
