PUGS REVIEWS - Longlegs

Longlegs blew my tits off so far that they’ve flown to Madrid for a late Euro summer.
Maika Monroe shines as Lee Harker, an asthma-ridden FBI Agent who would much prefer to do the opposite. Monroe nails the unwillingly intuitive, traumatised mess who got a job in the force instead of putting that valuable time into therapy.
Nicholas Cage stars as Nicholas Cage starring as our titular character; a beesting victim straight out of Botched who just needs someone to match his freak. As much as Cage is Caging for most of his time on screen, he has fun playing that absolute creature on the bus you're afraid to make eye contact with.
Every frame in this bad boy will have you performing spot checks on the windows and doors, on and off-screen. The very cool issue with Longlegs is that you will find what you’re looking for - but check away, because it won’t make you miss a plot that gets thicker than a Snickers.
My sphincter hasn’t been this tight against the seat since I brought home some souvenir balloons for a nice man at the airport. Think Silence of the Lambs makes shameful love with the first season of True Detective while some snuff VHS tapes watch from a chair in the corner.
8/10
