The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2024 is HUUUUGE!

It’s that time of year when we honor some of the biggest names in music history by inducting them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, situated in Cleveland, Ohio. 

This year's inductees include Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest.

Four out of the eight inductees were on the ballot for the first time, including Cher, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang and Frampton.

Big shout out to Foreigner making the list, as there was a massive effort from a group of rock legends fronted by world-famous producer Mark Ronson to get Foreigner inducted. You can read our write up on that HERE

This year's Rock Hall induction ceremony will take place on October 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio and it’s being reported that the ceremony will stream live on Disney+ (fingers crossed this includes NZ)

Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation John Sykes said this in a press release, "Rock & Roll is an ever-evolving amalgam of sounds that impacts culture and moves generations.” He continued "This diverse group of inductees each broke down musical barriers and influenced countless artists that followed in their footsteps."
