HBO hides six secret thrones around the world ahead of 'Game Of Thrones' final season

HBO has hidden six secret thrones in different locations across the globe ahead of the premiere of Game of Thrones' final season.

The network has revealed a series of 360-degree videos showing the first throne, which appears in an unknown forest.

A countdown timer has appeared on a special website set up for the campaign. When the timer runs out - or after the first throne is claimed - a video of the next thrones' location will be revealed.

The campaign also asks fans to "bleed for the throne" by donating blood, linking to the nearest Red Cross blood drive.

Game of Thrones will premiere in New Zealand on Sky SoHo on Monday April 15 at 1pm, the same time as the US.

An encore will screen at 8:30pm, while new episodes will become available to stream weekly on Neon from April 15.
