Iconic Australian hard rock band AC/DC is primed to release new music for the first time in years.
Two years after the band members reconvened at a Vancouver recording studio, the band has offered fans the first taste of new material since 2014's Rock or Bust album.
In social media posts and in an email newsletter titled 'ATTN: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK,' the band blasted out "#PWRUP Teaser 1" Thursday morning. The teaser contained a 30-second clip containing a brand new AC/DC riff from a song called "Shot in the Dark" and red neon imagery typical of the band's revamped aesthetic.
A caption beneath the video on YouTube asks, "ARE YOU READY?"
Yes, we are!

Yesterday, AC/DC confirmed that its Rock or Bust album lineup is back in business, featuring guitarists Stevie and Angus Young, bassist Cliff Williams, drummer Phil Rudd and frontman Brian Johnson.
Rumors about the band's imminent return have circulated for years, without the band offering any hints officially.
Johnson himself reportedly told people privately that he was back in the band after departing mid-tour in 2016, but we all wanted to see it to believe it.
