Bruce Springsteen was arrested for alleged DWI in November

Bruce Springsteen will be appearing in court in a few weeks to answer for a DWI arrest from this past fall.

The Boss was reportedly arrested on November 14 at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, NJ. He was cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area, TMZ reports.

Springsteen has never been cited for DWI before and was reportedly cooperative with officers.

The timing of the news is unfortunate for the rock icon, as he just appeared in a Jeep commercial during Super Bowl LV on Sunday. The marathon two-minute ad featured a monologue from Springsteen about hope, unity and patriotism following a tough year for America.

Representatives for Springsteen have no responded to requests for comment.
