Founding Member of Bon Jovi, Alec John Such Dies at 70

Alec John Such, the original bassist for the band Bon Jovi, has died at the age 70.

The rock star’s death was announced on Sunday by the band’s lead singer Jon Bon Jovi who highlighted Such’s role as one of Bon Jovi’s founding members.

No details on when or how John Such died were immediately available.

“He was an original,” Bon Jovi wrote in a post on Twitter. “As a founding member of Bon Jovi, Alec was integral to the formation of the band.”
