Lenny Kravitz and Anheuser-Busch's Stella Artois have an encouraging message to share in their Super Bowl LV TV spot.
On Monday (February 1), Stella Artois unleashed the 30-second TV advertisement called "Heartbeat Billionaire" ahead of this weekend's NFL showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the clip, Kravitz delivers a poetic spoken word as he plays the drums and the music transitions into his 1991 hit, "It Ain’t Over Till It's Over." From there, viewers are transported to an animated world of color and, yes, plenty fo Stella Artois. "We’re all born with 2.5 billion heartbeats. That makes you a billionaire," he says at the top of the commercial. "So, let’s not waste the fortune within us. Invest in each other, in the moments we share, because you’re rich in life when you’re a heartbeat billionaire."
In an interview with Billboard, Kravitz admitted that the point of the campaign is to unite one another. "This [pandemic] has been an opportunity, despite all the drama that's going on, to really connect with our loved ones and our families, and it's given us an opportunity to see what is important in life,” he explained of the project's mission statement. “At the end of the day, it's how are you going to spend your life? What kind of energy did you put out there into the world?"
