Listen to Shihad's cover of the Split Enz classic tune "I Got You"

Legendary Kiwi rock band Shihad have taken on the Split Enz classic "I Got You" from the iconic album TRUE COLOURS.

TRUE COLOURS, the most commercially successful album of Split Enz’s career, celebrated its 40th anniversary earlier in the year with a re-issue that went back to #1 on the New Zealand Album Chart - the first time in New Zealand history for an album to do so, local or international.

To commemorate the milestone, the multi-platinum album is now set to be re-imagined and covered by a stellar mix of Australian and New Zealand artists and released as TRUE COLOURS, NEW COLOURS - THE SONGS OF SPLIT ENZ out on 12th February 2021.

Shihad lead singer Jon Toogood is stoked to be a part of the album. “As a kid Split Enz made me believe that you could be from NZ and still conquer the world if you made great music. We were honoured to have been asked to do one of our favourite Split Enz tracks ‘I Got You’ for the upcoming tribute album."
