Metallica announces benefit livestream on YouTube today!

Metallica is reviving last year's 'Metallica Mondays' fundraiser for one-night only tonight (May 24) for its All Within My Hands Foundation.

“In honor of Month of Giving, we are bringing #MetallicaMondays back for a special one-off event benefiting the All Within My Hands foundation's annual Month of Giving,” the band said

Tonight's broadcast is a concert at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, on September 6, 2018. Catch the livestream via the player above starting at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The band launched the Monday evening concert series in the spring of 2020 amid the pandemic shutdowns and continued it weekly for nearly five months, as a way to entertain fans in lockdown and raise money for people in need.

The virtual concert series raised over $100,000 for COVID-19 relief. In the fall, the band took its annual 'Helping Hands' fundraiser virtual and raised another $1.3 million for various causes.
