New tribute album turns Black Sabbath classics into lullabies

One of the most influential hard rock bands of all time, Black Sabbath is almost singularly responsible for the inception of heavy metal and dozens of its extreme sub genres.

Rockers of all persuasions have emulated, copied and/or paid tribute to Sabbath over the past five decades. But the latest tribute to our heavy metal forefathers is intended not for the mosh pit but for the cradle.

The Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star project has compiled a full-length album of Black Sabbath's greatest songs, reimagined in instrumental lullaby form. The music is perfect for anyone in search of something familiar but subdued, gentle but not irritating.
