Red Hot Chili Peppers to Perform and Receive Global Icon Award At The 2022 VMAs

Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform and receive the Global Icon Award at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. It's their first appearance since receiving the Video Vanguard Award in 2000, It takes place at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 29 (NZDT).

Red Hot Chili Peppers has also released “Tippa My Tongue,” the first single from the band’s second album of 2022. The Unlimited Love follow-up is titled Return of the Dream Canteen and it’s out October 14. As with its predecessor, Rick Rubin produced the new record.
