Rolling Stones drop previously unreleased "Living In The Heart Of Love"

The Rolling Stones are dropping a 40th-anniversary edition of Tattoo You this fall and the campaign is starting with the previously unreleased, "Living In The Heart Of Love."

On Thursday (August 19), the group dropped the track, which hears Mick Jagger deliver a vocal performance atop some guitar, courtesy of Keith Richards, as well as some piano backing. The song is one of nine new cuts on the deluxe package's Lost & Found disc featuring additional vocals and guitar by the band. Meanwhile, the expanded set of the anniversary release, which drops on October 22, includes a 26-track live album, Still Life: Wembley Stadium 1982.

Tattoo You dropped on August 24, 1981, and (mostly) featured studio outtakes recorded by the group throughout the 1970s. The collection included hits like "Start Me Up," "Neighbours" and "Waiting on a Friend." The anniversary drop of Tattoo You follows the group's release of their expanded edition of 1973’s Goats Head Soup. That set included three previously unreleased tracks.

In late July, guitarist Ronnie Wood spoke about the release. "Me and Mick [Jagger] have done nine new tracks for the re-release of Tattoo You," he revealed to The Times. "And me, Rod [Stewart] and Kenny [Jones] have been recording some new Faces music. ... I've had a front-row seat on some amazing rock 'n' roll projects these past couple of weeks. I'm making every day count. Not wasting a moment."
