Suspect208 is looking for a new singer after firing Scott Weiland's son

Just a couple months ago, suspect208 shared its debut single, "Long Awaited," and our jaws promptly dropped to the floor. The band features some of the biggest rock stars kids: London Hudson (son of Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash), Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo) and Noah Weiland (son of Stone Temple Pilots' late frontman, Scott Weiland).

While the band as a whole sounded impressive, it was Noah's voice that was really chilling — he sounded exactly like his dad.

Although that's bound to be a recipe for success, the four-piece (also including guitarist Niko Tsangaris, who does not appear to be related to a famous musician), put out a call for a new singer in the Los Angeles area over the weekend. This, of course, sparked all kinds of questions, which suspect208 addressed in a subsequent Instagram post.

"As many of you know, we let our singer, Noah, go," they band explained in a message to followers. "We were really close to him and it is the last thing we would’ve ever wanted to do, but it had to be done for his safety, as well as the longevity of the band. This decision was made by the band because it was the last thing we could do to keep going. Noah was not writing lyrics or lifting his weight in the band for two months before we let him go."

"He was heading down a dark path of drug use that got in the way of our friendship as well as the band," the message continued. "Lastly, there were many instances of blow-ups over very small issues we’d confront him with. We wish him the best, and we deeply care about him. However, we did as much as we could to help him. Thank you to those who stick with us on this journey, we are very grateful."
