The Foo Fighters look back on their 25-year career in a new family room-style documentary, in which the band gathers around to look at old photos and footage to reminisce.
The 26-minute mini-documentary, Times Like Those, is available to watch on YouTube for free. The video comes just over a week after the band performed its first-ever virtual concert Saturday from the Roxy Theatre.
The Foos were forced to cancel almost a full year's worth of activity surrounding their quarter-century celebration and forthcoming 10th studio album, Medicine at Midnight, due out next year.
Times Like Those features all six band members, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Rami Jaffee, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear, arranged in armchairs around a projection screen, discussing old photos from the band 25 years.
The casual nostalgia session features the band members roasting each others' hairstyles and wardrobe choices and laughing at the general awkwardness of their press shots, while simultaneously tracing the band's history from present to past and back again, sharing anecdotes along the way and pointing out who was fat and when.
