Reports Of Explosion At Henderson Mall

Emergency services are attending to a fire at Westfield WestCity mall in Henderson, west Auckland.

A fire service spokesman confirmed the incident, but more details were unavailable.

A photo posted to Twitter shows a fire burning just inside an entrance to the mall, near a Dick Smith Electronics store and firefighters surrounding the area.

A large crowd of onlookers is also visible, standing just metres away from the fire and smoke.

The Transport Agency says the fire at the mall has caused mayhem for all roads in the area.

In a tweet, it's asking people to avoid travel around Henderson.
