US Reporter, Cameraman Killed On Air; Gunman Dies

WDBJ reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were shot at close range while conducting an on-air interview for the local CBS affiliate.

The woman being interviewed, Vicki Gardner, is in a stable condition in hospital after surgery.

It appears the gunman was a disgruntled former employee of the news network.

Williams had shot himself after the incident and had been in critical condition in hospital.
