Biggest metal festival in the world builds 4-mile beer pipeline

When planning the largest metal festival in the world the things you need to worry about it is what beer you will sell, how much beer will be drunk and how will you make sure that the beer never runs out.

The Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany has got it all figured out. Instead of getting a whole lot of trucks to haul the beer in, the geniuses behind this festival came up with the idea of putting in a 4.3-mile beer pipe!

They reckon that each person will consume 5.1 liters of beer over the three days. Take that figure and times it by 75,000 fans and you’ll need 382,500 LITERS OF BEER!
