Decorative beards are a new fashion trend that is taking off around the globe

Decorative beards are sweeping the globe this holiday season, which gives you the perfect excuse to flag the tree and save yourself $20 to put towards that beautiful Christmas ham.

That's right, some great New Zealanders have invented "beardaments", Christmas ornaments for your beard. Each beardament comes with a mini clip so, in theory, you could decorate any part of your body that has hair. It’s the perfect way to get right into the pestive season.



And for those of you donning a nostalgic nose don’t worry, you won’t be pining for the Christmas tree smell when you get a whiff of the beard oils these great New Zealanders are putting out. Festive mint scent - or "glitterbeard", seen below, are among the flavours.
