Black Caps Squad Named For Pakistan Tests

Jeet Raval and Colin de Grandhomme have a chance to make their Black Caps test debuts, named in the squad for the two match test series against Pakistan.

Todd Astle has also been included in the 13-man squad, having last played in whites in 2012.

Doug Bracewell, Martin Guptill, Luke Ronchi, Ish Sodhi and Jeetan Patel are the five players from the tour of India who have been dropped.

de Grandhomme has played for New Zealand in the shorter formats of the game, but not in tests.

Players not considered due to injury are Mitchell Santner, Mark Craig, Adam Milne, Mitchell McClenaghan, Colin Munro, and George Worker.

Corey Anderson was also not in contention, as he continues to work on building up his bowling work load.
