Breakers Prove Too Strong For Perth Wildcats

Corey Webster and Tom Abercrombie have led the Breakers to an impressive 88-80 win over the Perth Wildcats in the Australian basketball league.

Webster's scored 28 points while Abercrombie's amassed 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Breakers largely dominated their arch rivals in front of a good crowd at Vector Arena.

They always appeared in control of the game, leading 18-12 at the end of the first quarter and 41-33 at the major break.

The gap only closed briefly in the fourth quarter, before the Breakers put their foot down again to record their fifth win of the season.
