Brendon McCullum Recommits To Black Caps

Black Caps captain Brendon McCullum's re-signed with New Zealand cricket for another year.

McCullum's future has been the subject of speculation for months, but he's committed to a deal that will see him play in the tour to Australia this summer, as well as the World Twenty20 in March.

The annual contracting process for New Zealand Cricket will be completed next week, with the list of players offered central contracts announced on Wednesday.

Meanwhile McCullum has also signed a three year deal with the Big Bash league's Brisbane Heat.

The side is coached by recently retired Black Cap Daniel Vettori.

Vettori says McCullum’s availability for this season will be determined in due course.
