The Chiefs have pulled off a stunning 30-26 victory to deny the Jaguares victory in their first home Super Rugby match in Buenos Aires.
Trailing 23-14 with 10 minutes left, the Jaguares scored a converted try through Martin Landajo to cut the deficit to two before Matias Moroni dotted down to give his side the lead.
However, the Chiefs wrested the game back with a try two minutes from time through Brad Weber that was duly converted by Damian McKenzie.
Chiefs co-captain Sam Cane said the Jaguares provided a stern challenge.
"They're a team that can challenge you up front, but have the skill set and the pace in the back line to test you as well." Â
Cane said that was obviously in the last five minutes when the Jaguares took the lead. Â
"I'm pretty pleased with the way we didn't stop playing."Â
Earlier, Sam McNicol, McKenzie and James Lowe dotted down for tries for the visitors.
