Confusion Over India Tour Being Cancelled

New Zealand Cricket is in the dark over claims in an Indian newspaper that the rest of the Black Caps tour of India has been cancelled.

The startling claim in the Indian Express quotes a BCCI official saying they've cancelled the third test in Indore and five match one day series because of a government decision to freeze the board's bank accounts.

The official has told the newspaper they don't want India to be humiliated in front of the world.

A NZC spokesman says they've heard nothing from Indian officials and due to the time difference they've been unable to contact New Zealand Cricket chief David White who is in Kolkata.

But as far as New Zealand Cricket is concerned they are preparing for the third test .
