Israel Dagg has been called into the Crusaders squad as injury cover.
The fullback who is recovering from a dislocated shoulder replaces David Havili, with Ged Robinson also replacing Ben Funnell.
The unwanted World Cup All Black had a 30-minute hit out at club rugby and could be used in Friday's Super Rugby match against the Western Force.
