Darts World Series Will Return To Auckland This Year

There's confirmation the world's best darts players will be returning to Auckland this year.

The Professional Darts Corporation has confirmed the World Series, featuring the top eight professionals, will return to Trusts Arena from June 17 to 19.

PDC boss Matt Porter has told the Hash Brown Breakfast the last year's event was a major success and the return of the event was never questioned.

He says they've got a great relationship with the Trusts Arena, and they're looking forward to hosting them again as they embark on another World Series.

Porter says discussions over a multi-year deal with Auckland are advanced.
