In 1987 the New Zealand men’s ice hockey team played their first international tournament, they came up against Australia and lost 58-0.
It was a world record at the time, but now the ‘Ice Blacks’ are setting the record straight.
Up against Australia once again, the Kiwi's are determind to beat the Aussie's in a IIHF tournament.
The film has been released on the eve of New Zealand facing off against Australia for the first time since this film was shot, this time in Mexico City where they will also face Mexico, Bulgaria, North Korea and Israel.
The IIHF tournament runs from April 9-15 with the Ice Blacks playing the Mighty Roo’s on the last day of competition. After watching the film, who's side will you be on?
