Kirk Penney Expected To Return To Breakers

The Breakers will announce a new signing tomorrow and it's expected to be a familiar face.

The dots have been joined to form Kirk Penney's name after the Illawarra Hawks announced the veteran guard is leaving the Australian basketball league club for family reasons.

The Breakers don't want to comment on speculation, but have called a media conference for tomorrow morning where they will confirm a new recruit for the 2016-17 season.

Penney last played for the Breakers in 2011, when he played up with head coach Paul Henare and general manager Dillon Boucher.
