Lydia Ko has been ranked 81st in ESPN's list of top 100 most famous sportspeople in the world.
The World Fame 100 has attempted to create a ranking system using statistical analysis, combining salary, winnings and endorsements with an athlete's social media following and Google search popularity.
Ko is the only New Zealander to feature and one of just eight women to make the list.
Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo comes in at number one, followed by LeBron James and Lionel Messi.
Indian cricketers Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni rank at 8th and 14th respectively, while Maria Sharapova is the top ranked woman at 18.
Basketball is the sport which contributes most to the list with 20 players in the top 100.
