The Warriors' early season fortunes have taken another hit.

Prop Ben Matulino could be suspended for up to a month for his shoulder charge on the Broncos' Corey Oates in their round two loss.

The grade one offence has been bolstered by Matulino's previous record at the judiciary meaning he faces a three-week ban even with an early guilty plea.

Matulino will miss four games if he unsuccessfully challenges the case.

Fellow forward Jacob Lillyman will escape sanction for a dangerous tackle on Jordan Kahu, with his seven year blemish free record helping out.
