New Warriors Board Hopes To Grow Fan Base

New Warriors board member Niki Schuck is determined to grow at the fan base at the NRL club.

Schuck joins Owen Eastwood and Cameron George as new board members.

Owner Eric Watson is replacing Bill Wavish as chairman with Wavish to remain a director.

Schuck is thrilled with her appointment: "It's a huge honour to be asked to be on the Warriors board and I'm very grateful to Jim and Eric who are very supportive of the decision."

Schuck believes she adds a different perspective as a woman, but more importantly is hailing her PR and communications skill set.

"It's an area the Warriors are very committed to develop, we want to expand the fan base beyond our die-hard NRL, rugby league fans."
