Richie McCaw And Gemma Flynn Announce Engagement

Former All Blacks captain Richie McCaw is officially off the market.

The legendary rugby player has announced his engagement to long-time partner Gemma Flynn on his facebook page.

McCaw said it "has been great celebrating our engagement with family and friends in sunny central Otago." 

The post has already attracted a huge volume of congratulatory comments for the couple.

Gemma Flynn is an accomplished athlete in her own right, as a member of the Black Sticks hockey team since 2008.

In that time she has competed at Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games events.

McCaw was recently made a member of the Order of New Zealand.
