Volts Appoint High Achieving South African Coach

A South African with plenty of title-winning experience is expected to be announced as Otago cricket's new head coach.

Rob Walter joins Otago after winning a number of domestic titles with the Titans in Gauteng.

Walter served as a conditioning and fielding coach for the Proteas, before taking on the Titans job in 2013.

The Titans are the current first class and T20 champions, and have also won two 50-over competitions since he took over.

The decision's expected to be made public in the next 24 hours.
