Warriors Keen To Overturn Matulino's Ban

The Warriors are adamant they can overturn Ben Matulino's charge at the NRL judiciary.

The club will fight the grade one shoulder charge offence tonight, hoping to have the four week ban hanging over the Kiwis prop scrubbed.

Matulino could have missed three weeks with an early guilty plea, but Warriors coach Andrew McFadden thinks they can get it wiped completely.

He says they've looked at the incident and believe Matulino has a case to get off the charge.

Ben Matulino has been named in the Warriors side to face the Storm this weekend, with Albert Vete and Charlie Gubb on the bench and in line for their first appearances of 2016.
