Warriors Put End To Horrific Week

The perfect end to an horrific week for the Warriors.
They've beaten the Dragons 26-10 at Mt Smart Stadium, shrugging off the absence of six players for disciplinary reasons and the late withdrawal of Thomas Leuluai due to a hamstring injury.
Star playmaker Shaun Johnson said it's just the tonic they needed after a tough few days.
"Not the ideal week for us but as players all we look forward to is getting out there and playing. Obviously after what we tossed up last week, it couldn't come quick enough for us."
It comes a week after being thrashed 42-nil by the Storm.
Johnson said it's the least they could do for the fans...
"To see the people still show up and support us means so much to the playing group and I'm glad we could reward them with a good performance."
Meanwhile, Manu Vatuvei Ben Matulino and Bodene Thompson have paid an even bigger price for breaching Warriors standards earlier this week.
Newstalk ZB understands they will not be considered for selection in the Kiwis team to face Australia in the Anzac test on Friday.
