Jeremy Redmore burst on to the NZ music scene in 2006 after joining Midnight Youth. Their platinum-selling debut album ‘The Brave Don't Run’ peaked at number 2 in the New Zealand Album Chart and included two top 20, gold-selling singles, ‘All On Our Own’ and ‘The Letter’.
Midnight Youth won Best Rock Album and Best Group at the 2009 New Zealand Music Awards as well as a Silver Scroll for the most-played song of 2009. In 2011 they released their second and tried to conquer Australia and the bubble burst.
In 2014, after leaving the band, Redmore released his debut solo album, ‘Clouds Are Alive’, which reached number six on the NZ Charts and then he walked away from music to make coffee in Canada for a couple years until heartbreak brought him back to Aotearoa and back to into writing music.
Jeremy is super articulate with a career of wild experiences to recall and no ego attached. He’s also an incredible musician and songwriter, and we recommend you check out his latest album ‘The Brightest Flame’, or catch him live around the country next month, head to www.jeremyredmore.com for more details.
