Rebecca Rolls holds the distinction of having played for New Zealand in two different codes, first making her mark in football before going on to enjoy an international cricket career as a wicketkeeper. She played in three Women’s Cricket World Cups, two Olympic Games, and a FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Off the pitch her career is just as impressive having held a number of leadership and senior management roles in the public sector, including with the NZ Police, Ministry of Health, Serious Fraud Office and, the Department of Corrections.
She was recently appointed as the new diversity and inclusion manager for Sport NZ, responsible for the organisation’s Women & Girls Strategy and Disability Action Plan, as well as leadership and advocacy in other areas of diversity and inclusion.
She is also a director of NZ Cricket, was previously a director of the players’ associations for both football and cricket, and is now a commentator for Spark Sport.
