David Bowie - Blackstar (Teaser)

David Bowie is ramping up to release a new album in the New Year, but you can get your first taste of it on Friday.

That’s when the first single and video "Blackstar" is released and you can watch it exclusively from 10am on nzherald.co.nz

You’ll want to set aside some time: the track is 10 minutes long and was penned for the opening credits of an upcoming mini-series about a real life network of jewel thieves, called 'The Last Panthers'.

Series director Johan Renck  also directed "Blackstar", the first taste of Bowie’s first album since 2013’s 'The Next Day'.

'Blackstar', the album, will be released on January 8, also Bowie’s 69th birthday.
