Listen to the new Death Cab For Cutie song "Kids in '99"

Death Cab For Cutie have released a brand new song from their upcoming new EP The Blue EP, out September 6th.

The song "Kids In '99" is a tribute to the three children who died in a freak explosion 20 years ago.

“The Olympic Pipeline explosion in 1999 was a tragedy that really affected me while we were living in Bellingham,” frontman Ben Gibbard said in a statement. “After all these years I felt it was worthy of its own folk song.”
